Eating in New Zealand

We are finally back after a longer-than-expected hiatus! In my case I was a little busy with trying to find a job (to no avail) as well as looking after some personal commitments. As things are looking calmer for now, I feel more settled to try and get back into a scheduled blogging routine! Very soon you, the reader shall have an idea of how much I have on my mind to splurge onto this blog but I don’t want to promise too much and then have real life get in the way!

One current idea I’ve been tinkering with during the hiatus is focusing an area-wide review on the places I’ve hung around in Auckland during the past couple of years! It’s not anything fancy and by no means exhaustive, but I’d like to think at least for the areas I’ve been frequenting there are some useful dining tips I can offer! As they do get a little large I’ll be publishing these once every few weeks; hopefully they aren’t so large to cause indigestion for you guys! But they will definitely be jam-packed with information :)

As always, this is something new I’m trying out and any feedback is greatly appreciated! Really hope to generate some conversation (as well as saliva) with these large articles!

As I’ve found myself short of time and mostly, motivation (lack of a job has prevented me from eating out as often as I’d like!) I’ll be returning in June after I’ve sorted my posts-in-the-pipeline as well as focusing on finding myself a permanent job so I can get back to eating (and also not to let my hard-earned university degree go to waste). So until then… remember that in order to live well, sleep well, one must first dine well! (or something to that effect)
