Eating in New Zealand

Just a quick update…

Restaurant reviews from April-ish onwards will now include storefront shots, and sometimes shots of the decor if applicable (if I felt the ambiance was suitable for a couples gathering, say - this is pending photo-taking permissions from establishments of course). I will also include the address and contact details as some of my friends have hinted at it being hard to find where exactly the eateries I’ve blogged about are located!

Another slight change to the restaurant reviews is the inclusion of Chinese letters. Given that I go to a lot of Chinese restaurants, a lot of the dishes may not necessarily have the best translated dish names - so I’m going to try and include the original dish names whenever I remember to jot them down, and you as the reader may judge for yourself whether I’ve done a passable job of translating the Chinese dish names =p

I will also attempt to link to the eatery’s official website if they have one, so that you can check them out for yourself (and saves you a few clicks from having to google them up!). They shouldn’t mind I think…

If you have comments on how I can further improve the restaurant reviews please please let me know :) There are a few reasons why I’m structuring things this way and I’m always wondering if there are other possibilities!
